National Children's Literacy
The National Children's Literacy Website is a non-profit literacy initiative designed to equip parents and educators with guidelines and tools to help teach early literacy skills to young children.
In addition to math and literacy games for ages Pre-K through 2nd grade, Starfall offers Pre-K and Kindergarten activities and resources for the home and classroom. Supplemental English Language Arts (ELA) and math parent-teacher resources keep children engaged in their learning experience. A complete curricula for both Kindergarten and Pre-K for 4-year-olds is also available.
Storyline Online streams videos featuring celebrated actors reading children’s books alongside creatively produced illustrations. Each book includes supplemental curriculum developed by a credentialed elementary educator, aiming to strengthen comprehension and verbal and written skills for English-language learners.
TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of TumbleBooks – animated, talking picture books that teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love. TumbleBooks are created by adding animation, sound, music and narration to existing picture books in order to produce an electronic picture book you can read, or have read to you.
