Benjamin Franklin invites you to hear his stories of his youth, his inventions (including the lightning rod, stove, bifocal glasses and swim fins), public institutions (the first: police force, volunteer fire department, lending library and hospital) and people of the revolution: cantankerous John Adams, bilious Arthur Lee, the bumbling British, the fascinating French and the double-dealing Dutch. He will also tell stories of spies, secret codes, court intrigues and Congressional jealousies.
