Youth Services Assistant

Under the supervision of the Youth Services Manager, the assistant is responsible for a variety of tasks that focus on daily operations within
the Youth Services Department, including the planning, preparation and facilitation of youth programming, providing patrons with both reader’s advisory
and assistance in utilizing library services and participation in inter-department collaboration for library events and community outreach.

This 15 hour per week position requires day, evening and weekend hours. Applications will be accepted until position is filled. Starting pay is $15.00 per

Technical Services Specialist

The Three Rivers Public Library District is now accepting applications for a full-time, 37.5 hours per week Technical Services Specialist. We’re looking for a
team member who is familiar with technology, and will provide excellent customer service to all staff and patrons of the library.

This position is expected to:

  • Provide friendly, courteous and accurate service to all users
  • Understand and implements library procedures and policies, while
    safeguarding confidential and restricted information
  • Performs item entry of materials in all formats and assigns classification
    and call numbers to library materials
  • Manages the receipt, processing and data entry of library materials
  • Classify and catalog new and existing library materials and enter library
    materials into the consortium database
  • Delete materials from the database
  • Attend meetings and participate in continuing education opportunities
    related to technical services
  • May provide backup at circulation desk as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

The position requires an LTA and two years experience in a library setting or Bachelor’s Degree and one year library experience. Day, evening and weekend
