Learn to create beautiful marbled paper at home to use for cards, bookmarks, gift tags, and more. Register with a valid email address to reserve a craft kit. You'll be notified when it's ready to pick up, then follow along with the instructional video to learn how to create your own designs. The video premieres 12/14 at 6pm and will continue to be available for viewing after the premiere via our YouTube Channel, Facebook page, and Virtual Programs page. This event is open to adults and teens, 13 years and older.
Registration with a valid email address is required. You will be contacted via email with kit pick up instructions and video link. (Tip: add [email protected] to your email contacts to be sure you don't miss library program emails!)
If you did not receive a kit and would like to follow along, you will need:
An aluminum baking pan (or other washable tray)
Food Coloring
Shaving Cream (not gel)
Watercolor paper (or other heavy paper like cardstock)
A plastic ruler or other flat washable object for scraping
A skewer, paintbrush or other thin object for swirling
Paper towels
Optional: Gloves and plasic sheeting or newspaper to protect your work surface
