Circulation Services Manager
The Three Rivers Public Library District is now accepting applications for the position of Circulation Services Manager. The ideal candidate will be flexible, approachable, a self-starter with exceptional customer services skills, able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service.
Under administration of the Executive Director, this position is responsible for operation of the Circulation Services Department. Duties include: ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient circulation processes, the smooth daily operations of the location, and representing the library at the system level.
Essential skills include knowledge of circulation practices, procedures, policies, and technologies; proficiency with online and electronic resources; and experience using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other relevant software. This role supervises up to ten staff members and requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to address patron concerns. Candidates must also have the physical ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to twenty-five pounds.
Position requires: a Library Technical Assistant (LTA) certificate plus three (3) years of experience in a public-contact position, with library experience preferred; or a bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of work experience, including at least one (1) year of library experience. Must have access to reliable transportation. Salary plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes vacation, sick and personal time off, insurance benefits, and participation in the IMRF pension plan.

The Three Rivers Public Library District is now accepting applications for a part-time Adult Services Assistant. Under the supervision of the Adult Services
Manager, the Adult Services Assistant is responsible for a variety of tasks in support of the Adult Services Department. Duties include assisting patrons with
reference and reader’s advisory, providing technology assistance, assisting with preparation of materials for programs, assisting in weeding the adult collection,
and conducting programs as assigned.
This 18 hour-per-week position requires day, evening and weekend hours. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Starting pay is $16.00 per
hour plus benefits. Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent; LTA, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
