Download 5 free MP3s a week from the Sony Music Entertainment Catalog.  Compatible with all devices, you keep the music you download, without needing to install any software to your computer. 

You can also stream up to 3 hours per day of single songs or whole albums.  Please note that the song samples are no longer available.  If you play a song, it will count towards your streaming for the day.  If you do not see the streaming option, log out of your account and log back in to accept the streaming agreement.

Inkie.org is a suite of resources available to everyone in Illinois at no charge.  Inkie.org supports local authors with online creation and publishing tools and allows readers to access locally-produced content.

Create:

  •  Pressbooks enables writers to convert their manuscripts into a variety of e-book and print formats. Pressbooks helps writers format their books with professional design templates and includes tools to assist with book organization. After converting their book into different formats, authors can distribute their book however they choose.

  • Indie Illinois: A statewide collection of e-books promoting independently published local authors.

RBdigital contains full digital magazines. These digital magazines can be viewed on any internet-enabled device, including laptops, smartphones, and tablets.  Magazines are interactive, have the ability to zoom in an out, and once you download an issue of a magazine, it is yours to keep!

Tumble Book Library

TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of animated, talking picture books that teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love.

TumbleBooks are created by adding animation, sound, music, and narration to existing picture books in order to produce an electronic picture book which you can read or have read to you.

New books are added consistently, including picturebooks, graphic novels, non-fiction, grade school novels, and more!  Find your favorite books in a new, fun format.
