Mr. Lincoln shares his experiences and thoughts on the subjects of immigration, nativism, international relations, and the global significance of the American Civil War. Examining the history of immigration in our country, Mr. Lincoln will focus especially on the years from1830 to 1860 when the rate of immigration increased dramatically and immigrant groups became more diverse.
